As all those with a yacht will be aware well maintained sails not only perform better but also ensure that the value of the yacht as a whole is maintained and helps avoid costly repair bills in the future as a result of lack of integrity.
Our Sail Wash & Care service that we are able to offer means that we will
- Deliver it to sail loft – Just drop your sails down to us or leave it stowed safely on your boat for us and we’ll take care of the rest, we hand-deliver the sails to the loft for you.
- Carefully wash the sail – Have the sail washed in a special cleaning solution designed not to damage or yellow the sail in any way.
- Re-proof the sail – After the clean the sail will be re-proofed to ensure it works to it’s highest efficiency.
- Arrange any additional work – The sail will be throughly inspected during the course of the process, any weaknesses found at this stage will be quoted for repair – like a chip in a windscreen it is much cheaper to repair it at this stage.
- Fold and store the sail – Ensure that the sail is carefully
folded and stored until such time as you want it back
- Redeliver it back to you – Job done! We will arrange with you whether you would like us to leave it in a safe place on your yacht or want to collect it from the office just let us know.
