She is a very original Albatross Mk3, with the Ford 100E 39hp petrol engine. Direct drive, and a true thoroughbred sports boat. Her original corrosion resistant magnesium alloy hull is in lovely condition. These boats were built after WW2 using expertly riveted aircraft grade aluminum, Birmabright. Her paintwork is good, and her engine looks to have been well maintained over the years. Upholstery is also in good shape, as well as her basic dashboard. Last run 3 years ago, we see no reason why she would not start. However, she is being sold needing a service and check over. Her trailer needs new tyres before she is moved. Anyone who knows these boats, knows how much fun they are and how simple they are to own.
