Success Through Design
A Brand New Boat
A Unique New Partnership
An exciting new development, the Sun Fast 3300 is set for launch in the Spring 2019, designed by two renowned naval architects Daniel Andrieu and Guillaume Verdier.
Daniel has been involved in the Sun Fast range since its inception and has a proven track record for building quality, fast racing yachts in collaboration with Jeanneau to a standard that their customers have come to expect. Guillaume has a superb understanding and background in fluid dynamics which showcases itself in the shape of the new boats hull, he has had a hand in the creation and successes of the Imoca 60 Hugo Boss and 100′ Commanche.
Between these two experts the Sun Fast 3300 will bring a balanced and competitive cruiser able to be sailed both short handed or fully crewed depending on the event.
She has a double concave in the hull which reduces pressure and drag on the hull and below water wetted area for improved performance but not compromising IRC ratings.
She has many other features including a crash bulkhead forward, negative bow to save weight in this critical area supported by a long and reinforced bow sprit for downwind sails, forward facing window to give shorthanded sailers an informative view when below decks, twin rudders for maximum traction on either tack and a single tiller for ease of handling from any point in the cockpit.
