Ultra Marine is a Latitude 46 built Tofinou 8.0. Built on the Ile De Re in Western France the Tofinou 8.0 is as much a work of art as it is a sailboat. A truly beautiful boat that has to be seen to be properly appreciated. 

By any standard, the Tofinou 8.0 is quite a boat. The hull, marked by its straight bow and very flat stern lines, is very stable and excellent at all points of sail.

Performing well under a light wind or a breeze, the Tofinou 8, with its responsive helm, is a dayboat that offers sensations similar to those of a sport dinghy, easy to manoeuvre in solo sailing or with a small crew. 

At all times her behaviour is as refined, elegant and satisfying as her looks. 

Hull antifouled and polished, new sail drive anode, prop polished February 2022, just launched and decks cleaned, March 2022. A cradle and mast cradle are available.

A boat cradle is available if required. A mast cradle for use when transporting by road is also available.This Tofinou 8 was lifted from the water January 2022 to the hard standing to be cleaned, antifouled and polished. Now launched March 2022. Deck and cockpit have been cleaned when boat was launched March 2022 Folding prop has been cleaned, new anode fitted and faring around hull / keel improved. Hull in hand laid GRP re-inforced with a structure of frames and stringers. Deck in sandwich GRP construction, glued and fastened to the hull. Deck covered in 8mm teak, vacuum glued.Cockpit coamings of varnished mahogany, removable for maintenance and covering all halyards and sheets.
