How We Use AI

YACHTS.CO INTERNATIONAL LTD uses AI tools (Claude, provided by Anthropic) to help us write and check some of the wording on this website. A member of our team checks it, and nothing the AI writes is allowed to add facts about a boat.

Where we use it

• Boat descriptions. Descriptions and specifications are written by the broker listing the boat. AI helps us spot spelling and punctuation mistakes; we correct those without changing any word or number, and our team checks anything more.
• Our own listings. AI helps our brokers turn their notes into a first draft, and puts what they think of a boat into a few sentences. It may only use the boat’s own details and what the broker said, and the broker checks and edits every listing before it goes live.
• Search and photo descriptions. AI drafts the short descriptions search engines show and the descriptions of photos for people who use screen readers. Our team approves them before they are published.
• News, events and new boats. AI helps draft some news articles, event introductions and plain-English descriptions of new models. Our team checks and approves each one before it is published.

What AI is never used for

• Setting prices, making or answering offers, or deciding anything about you.
• Replying to your enquiries: a member of our team does that.
• Reading your personal data: the AI tools are given only boat details, photos and our own posts.
