A 55-foot offshore cruiser with a forward owner's suite taking up two-thirds of the interior and a dual cockpit.
The Jeanneau Yachts 55 is bold and original, and it’s made for sailors who love to travel and appreciate good design. It keeps the elegance, performance and comfort of the range for offshore sailing and longer voyages, but it isn’t afraid to break from tradition.
The forward owner’s suite is like a private apartment and takes up two-thirds of the interior. The main companionway gives private access to it, and there are plenty of handholds for safety under way. Two guest cabins have their own bathrooms and are reached from the cockpit by separate companionways, so they feel completely independent.
Outside, the Dual Cockpit has a new layout. The aft area is for relaxing, with two saloons, one U-shaped and one L-shaped, that each convert into sundecks, plus a very large hydraulic swim platform. The twin helms are forward, with an exterior chart table that has a GPS screen and autopilot controls. They are protected by the hard top and a wide wraparound windscreen with excellent visibility.
