The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 380
A lively, easy-to-sail 38-footer with an inverted bow, twin wheels and a choice of two or three cabins.
The Sun Odyssey 380 balances performance, easy movement and comfort. The inverted bow improves downwind efficiency and makes the boat more responsive and easier to handle in port. Recessed side decks and twin wheels make it safe to move around the deck and give a better view from the helm. The lowered boom makes the sails easier to reach and adds sail area without adding weight, and the lifting keel lets you dry out on the sides using removable poles without affecting performance.
The interior is bright and airy with a clean, modern feel. There’s a rectangular berth in the forward cabin, a daybed on the keel box that’s more comfortable at sea, and the choice of three roomy cabins or two, with two separate showers and a storage locker.
