Jeanneau Cap Camarat 425

A 4.25 m open boat from Jeanneau's 2000 range, now out of production, unsinkable and suited to up to 5 people on fresh or salt water.

She's unsinkable and was certified by the Merchant Marine, which is a reassuring thing to know about any small open boat, and particularly one you might take out with family aboard. Up to 5 people can travel in her.

Jeanneau introduced the 425 as the open model of 2000 and no longer builds her, so anyone looking at one now will be buying second hand. She sits comfortably within the Cap Camarat family but brought a few ideas of her own to it.

The hull is where those ideas show. Forward, the bow is shaped like a seagull's wing, with three Vs side by side, and as you move aft these merge into one. Fit a 40 HP engine and she'll surf along at up to 50 km/h.

At 4.25 m long with a draught of 0.18 m, she's equally happy on a lake, a river or the sea. The fuel tank holds 24 l.
