Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.1 CC

A small centre console from Jeanneau, no longer in production, best for two people out for the day, with room for up to 5 when friends join.

Jeanneau stopped building the Cap Camarat 5.1 CC some time ago, so any you'll find now are previously owned. She's a 4.95 m centre console laid out mainly for two, and that's where she makes most sense: a couple slipping away for a few hours on the water.

Friends can still come along. The cockpit rearranges to give them room, and she's rated for a maximum of 5 people. Turn the bench seat round and the area aft becomes a place to sit down and eat, while the space forward is kept for lying in the sun.

Handling is consistent. She answers the wheel just as precisely in a tight turn as she does when you open her up, which makes her easy to trust. With a draught of only 0.3 m, you can also take her into shallower spots than many boats would manage.
