A compact Jeanneau day cruiser, no longer built, with a sheltered cockpit and room for up to 7, for people who want quick, comfortable days afloat.

At 6.15 m overall and rated for up to 7 people, the Cap Camarat 6.5 DC is a small boat made for proper days out rather than quick spins round the bay. Jeanneau has stopped building her, so any you find now will be secondhand.

What sets her apart is the cockpit. It's well protected, so you and your passengers are kept out of the worst of the spray and wind, and it's a large part of why she's comfortable over a full day.

The idea behind her came from Scandinavia, where boats like this are used for fast, easy day cruising. Jeanneau then reworked the concept for Mediterranean waters, with a hull designed with safety in mind and a deck layout thought through so everything is where you'd expect it.
