Jeanneau Yachts 54

A former Jeanneau flagship-style cruiser of 16.16 m, with two to six cabins and a sociable cockpit, for owners planning long passages in comfort.
What sets this boat apart is the way her cockpit is split. All the sailing controls sit aft: the helm, engine and bow thruster, plus the mainsail and genoa sheets. That leaves the dining table in the middle of the cockpit free for the crew who aren't on watch, with sun loungers either side of the companionway.
Jeanneau no longer builds her, but she was designed for long cruises and travelling far. Philippe Briand drew the lines, and Andrew Winch of Winch Design worked on her alongside Jeanneau's in-house team. She measures 16.16 m overall, 15.75 m on the hull, with a 4.92 m beam and a 2.24 m draught. Tanks hold 724 l of fresh water and 240 l of fuel.
At anchor you've got more places to stretch out: a recessed sunbathing area set into the foredeck and two more on the swim platform.
The layout was customisable, so you'll find her with anywhere between 2 and 6 cabins. Inside, the style is contemporary, the galley is well equipped and there's a good amount of storage. The owner's cabin is roomy, with a large berth, space to move about and windows in the hull, which make it a pleasant spot to read with the water alongside.
She also came with SEANAPPS, which lets you check on the boat's systems and keep track of maintenance from your smartphone while you're away from her.
