Jeanneau Sun Fast 3200

A Daniel Andrieu cruiser-racer Jeanneau no longer builds, for crews who race seriously but still want two double cabins and a galley below.
She's quickest with the wind behind her. Daniel Andrieu drew the Sun Fast 3200 for racing and performance cruising, and Jeanneau built her with the best strength-to-weight ratio the technology of the day allowed.
The interior is what sets her apart from most boats in this class. You get two double cabins, a galley, a chart table and a separate heads, so a weekend's racing doesn't have to mean a night in a sleeping bag on the cabin sole. On deck, the equipment was specified for function and reliability.
Jeanneau later brought out the R2 version, aimed at owners racing at a higher level. It has an open cockpit, a carbon mast and a straight keel, changes intended to add speed, help her move more smoothly and make the boat easier to handle. If you're looking at one, it's worth checking which version it is.
Length overall is 10.1 m and the hull is 9.78 m, with a 3.48 m beam and 1.9 m of draught. She carries 75 l of fuel and 80 l of fresh water. Jeanneau no longer builds this model.
