Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600

A Daniel Andrieu racer-cruiser Jeanneau no longer builds, for sailors who race short-handed or crewed and want a boat the family can enjoy too.
Daniel Andrieu drew the Sun Fast 3600 for racing single-handed, double-handed or with a full crew, and she proved herself in both inshore and offshore events. Jeanneau has since stopped building her, so any you find now will be a previously owned boat.
What makes her quick starts with the build. The whole boat was infusion moulded, which keeps the structure stiff and resistant without adding weight. Under the water there's a light, stepped hull, a lead keel and twin rudders, so she carries her speed and keeps tracking straight whatever the conditions.
On deck, owners had a choice of tillers or wheels, and the sheet leads can be set up the way you like to work the boat. The cockpit is arranged so handling stays simple and efficient, which counts for a lot when you're sailing short-handed.
Down below it's a straightforward racing interior with room for six: two aft cabins plus two benches in the saloon. You get a galley and a separate heads, and the saloon gives everyone somewhere to unwind after a hard sail.
She measures 11.25 m overall, with a 10.8 m hull, a 3.55 m beam and a 2.13 m draught. She carries 75 l of fuel and 100 l of fresh water.
