Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32.1
A 9.5 m Philippe Briand cruiser Jeanneau no longer builds, easy to handle and roomy below, for couples or small crews who want straightforward sailing.
The Sun Odyssey 32.1 is a previous model, out of production now, and what owners tend to value most is how little effort she takes. The hull is naturally balanced and the steering is light, which makes her very easy to manoeuvre.
Philippe Briand gave her a wide beam and a low profile, so she sits sleek on the water with handsome lines. Length overall is 9.5 m, the hull itself is 9.35 m, and she draws 1.95 m, worth bearing in mind if you're exploring shallower spots.
Below decks, the saloon is light and open, done out in a classic way with varnished teak facades and a teak and holly cabin sole. Guests get a double berth in the forward cabin, and each cabin has plenty of headroom and room to move.
She's rated for up to 6 people. Tankage is 160 l for fresh water and 45 l for fuel.
