Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32 Dériveur
A discontinued twin-keel, twin-rudder version of the Sun Odyssey 32 that dries out upright, suited to sailors on tidal coasts and drying moorings.
This is the twin-keel, twin-rudder version of the Sun Odyssey 32, a model Jeanneau no longer builds. She was designed for sailors who keep a boat where the tide goes out, and the builder made the change without altering how she sails.
From the outside she looks much like the standard boat. The difference is underneath: the hull was shaped to sit on its two keels and two rudders, so she can dry out on a beach or in a drying harbour without legs and without any worry about the structure taking the load.
With a draught of 0.86 m she'll get into shallow water that deeper boats can't reach. She's 9.6 m overall, with a hull length of 9.45 m, two cabins and room for up to 6 people. She carries 70 l of fuel and 170 l of fresh water.
