Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49i
A 49-foot cruising yacht from Jeanneau's earlier range, set up for short-handed sailing and roomy enough below for a family or two couples.
The Sun Odyssey 49i is a 49-foot cruising yacht that Jeanneau built before moving on to newer models. She was designed to cover longer distances at a good pace while staying manageable for a small crew.
On deck, she's straightforward to steer, and the winches give you precise control of the sails, so two people can handle her comfortably. She's equally at ease on passage or sitting at anchor.
Below, there's a large galley and a spacious saloon, which matters when much of a cruise is spent cooking and eating together. The chart table and navigation station are nicely finished, and the styling is modern. Plenty of natural light and fresh air come into the interior, which makes the living space feel open.
She's 15.07 m overall, with a hull length of 14.75 m. Tanks hold 240 l of fuel and 615 l of fresh water.
