Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 509

The Sun Odyssey 509 is a previous Jeanneau model, a 15.38 m cruising yacht with 3, 4 or 5 cabins, suited to sailors wanting space and a versatile rig.
The Sun Odyssey 509 was designed by Philippe Briand and is no longer built by Jeanneau. She was drawn to be seaworthy and comfortable, with lines meant to age well.
Her high-aspect ratio sail plan takes a wide choice of sails, so the rig can be set up for quite different kinds of sailing.
She's 15.38 m overall, with a hull length of 14.98 m, a beam of 4.69 m and a draught of 2.28 m. Tanks hold 240 l of fuel and 618 l of fresh water, and she was offered with 3, 4 or 5 cabins.
