The Southampton International Boat Show 2026 is almost here, and the YACHTS.CO team will be there from 18 to 27 September. Visitors are warmly invited to come and say hello, step aboard a line-up of the latest Jeanneau Powerboats and talk through their plans with people who know these boats well.

Among the boats on show will be the Jeanneau DB 37, alongside models from the Merry Fisher range and the Cap Camarat family. Together they cover a broad spread of what people want from a motorboat, from practical, sheltered cruising to open, sociable days on the water, which makes the show a good opportunity to compare different approaches side by side.

The Merry Fisher range is known for its versatility, with designs that suit family cruising, fishing and weekends away. Cap Camarat models lean towards the open-deck, day-boat style that many owners enjoy for coastal outings and time spent in the sunshine. The DB 37 brings a sportier character to the line-up. Seeing them in person is often the quickest way to work out which style truly fits how you intend to use a boat.

A boat show visit is about more than looking around. Stepping aboard lets you judge things that photographs and brochures cannot convey: how the helm feels, how easy it is to move around the deck, how much light comes into the cabin, and whether storage and seating work for the number of people you usually take out. It is worth bringing a list of the things that matter most to you, and perhaps the people you plan to boat with, so everyone can form a view.

The team is happy to talk with visitors at every stage. If you are looking for your first boat, a conversation can help clarify what size and type of boat suits your experience, budget and cruising area. If you are upgrading to something bigger, it may be useful to discuss what you have enjoyed and what you have missed on your current boat, as well as the practical side of selling or part-exchanging it. And if you are simply dreaming about your next adventure, there is no better place to start planning.

Southampton is one of the busiest events in the boating calendar, and the most popular boats can draw a crowd. Arranging an appointment in advance means you can spend time aboard the models that interest you and have the team's full attention, rather than fitting in around other visitors.

Step aboard, get inspired and start planning your next adventure. If you would like to arrange an appointment at the show, please get in touch with the YACHTS.CO team. We look forward to seeing you in Southampton.
