YACHTS.CO is pleased to invite clients and friends to Jeanneau Private Days, taking place on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November 2026 at the Jeanneau factory in Cholet, France. Over two days, visitors can step behind the scenes, see how Jeanneau yachts take shape and explore several models from the current range, including a preview of the new Sun Odyssey 385 on the production line.
The programme centres on a tour of the factory. For many people, a yacht is something first encountered finished and gleaming at a boat show or on a pontoon. Seeing the same boat as hulls, decks and interiors in progress gives a very different understanding of what goes into it. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the Jeanneau team and learn more about the brand, its approach and the expertise, craftsmanship and care that sit behind each model.
For anyone considering a new boat, this kind of visit can be genuinely useful. Understanding the build process first-hand helps when comparing models, weighing up options and asking the right questions about layout, equipment and long-term ownership. It is also a relaxed setting in which to talk through ideas with people who know the boats in detail.
Several models will be on display to explore. The Sea Loft 480 takes a different approach to time on the water: a quiet, stable floating villa with electric propulsion, designed for relaxed cruising with family and friends. It will appeal to those who value calm, space and sociable days at anchor.
Among the sailing yachts, the Sun Odyssey 350 is the successor to the popular Sun Odyssey 349. It is an easy-to-handle cruiser with a new hull and walk-around side decks, which make moving about the boat simpler and more secure. The Sun Odyssey 415 is a family cruiser built on the hull of the Sun Odyssey 410, a 41-foot design with a powerful, racing-inspired hull, and pairs it with a new interior and a competitive price. At the larger end, the Sun Odyssey 455 is a 45-foot cruiser that is elegant, seaworthy and easy to handle, offered with a choice of four layouts so owners can arrange the accommodation to suit how they sail.
A particular highlight will be the special preview of the new Sun Odyssey 385. This 38-foot cruiser has been designed to make sailing simpler and safer for sailors of every level. Seeing it during construction, rather than as a finished boat, is a rare opportunity and offers an early look at a model that may interest newer sailors and experienced crews alike.
When looking at boats on display, it is worth thinking about how you intend to use them: the number of people you usually sail with, whether you prefer short coastal hops or longer passages, and how much handling you want to do yourself. Walking through several models side by side makes these comparisons much easier.
