Jeanneau's private days are only a few weeks away, and we'd like you to come with us. On Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November 2026, the factory in Cholet, France, opens its doors for a behind-the-scenes look at how the boats are built, and there are still places for YACHTS.CO customers who want to join us.

It's a chance most owners never get. You'll have a tour of the factory floor, meet the people who design and build the boats, and spend time aboard several models from the current range. For anyone thinking about a new Jeanneau, seeing hulls and decks come together gives you a much clearer sense of what you're buying than a brochure or a boat show stand can.

The headline for many will be the new Sun Odyssey 385, which you'll see on the production line. She's a 38-foot cruiser designed to make sailing simpler and safer for sailors of every level, and getting a first look at her at this stage, before she's fitted out, tells you a lot about how she's put together.

Alongside her, you'll be able to explore the Sun Odyssey 350, 415 and 455. The 350 is the successor to the popular Sun Odyssey 349, with a new hull and walk-around side decks, and she's built to be easy to handle. If you've sailed a 349, it's worth seeing the changes for yourself. Having the 350, 415 and 455 together in one place also makes it easier to judge the step up in size between them, which is often the hardest decision when choosing a cruiser.

Motorboat owners haven't been forgotten. The Sea Loft 480 will be there too, an electrically powered floating villa intended for quiet, stable, relaxed cruising with family and friends. She takes a different approach from a conventional motor yacht, and it's the sort of boat that makes far more sense once you've stepped aboard and walked around her.

Jeanneau is part of Groupe Beneteau and builds both sailing yachts and motor boats, so the days suit sailors and motorboaters alike. We'd suggest coming with a few questions in mind: how you'll use the boat, who'll be sailing with you, and what matters most to you on board. The factory team are happy to talk through construction and options in detail, and we'll be on hand to help you make sense of it all afterwards.

As a family-run dealer since 2007, we've always found that customers who've seen where their boat is built feel more confident in their choice, and they often enjoy the boat more for it. Even if you're simply curious, it's an interesting couple of days.

If you'd like to join us in Cholet, or want to know more before deciding, get in touch with the team and we'll talk you through the arrangements.
